Allison Della Vecchia, originally from New Jersey, USA, moved to South Florida at the age of six where she met her business partner, Jasmine “Je T’aime” Puri, a New Yorker. The two quickly became friends, sisters, and collaborators. They founded Graffiti Xpressions in 2003, a design, web, and printing company that offered marketing, promotional materials, and consultation services to entrepreneurs and established businesses. Two years later they relocated to North Carolina and in 2005, rebranded the company to GXI Printing.
Allison and Jasmine were inspired by George Lopez’s outreach ministry events in South Florida and aimed to continue his legacy in North Carolina. They planned an alternative Christian entertainment touring circuit, and a chance encounter with music executive Keith L. Rolle in The Bahamas in 2016 changed everything. Allison became a business partner and Vice President of KLR Management Group. Together, they organized a North and South Carolina tour, attended the Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Awards in The Bahamas, and Open House 2017, a 3-day music festival with 30,000 attendees in Trinidad and Tobago.
With invaluable support from multiple award-winning music producer Reuel Lynch they submitted music from over 40 Caribbean Gospel artists to various US music awards, resulting in 425 nominations from six Caribbean islands and 25 award wins in two years. Allison worked tirelessly to promote, fundraise, and organize visas, travel, accommodations, and transportation for seven artists/groups in 2017 and nine artists/bands in 2018 to attend The Prayze Factor People’s Choice Awards in Atlanta and the Voices of Gospel Music Awards in Alabama.
In 2018, Allison became the Director of Operations for the Dunamis Gospel Awards, a Greensboro, North Carolina-based award show founded by Bishop Terry L. Young, which has grown from a local to a national award show. In 2022, Allison and Bishop Young launched The ACE (Artists Celebrating Excellence) Awards, a performing arts award show recognizing actors, playwrights, screenwriters, and other stage and film professionals.
Sadly, Jasmine passed away in 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic, leaving a void in Allison’s life. However, her open spirit and outgoing personality continue to inspire Allison’s pursuit of excellence. Allison finds solace and community at Central Triad Church with her six loving children, many of whom work with her as needed in ministry under the guidance of Pastor Michael Kelly in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
