Over the last 15 years Reuel Lynch has consistently written, co-written, produced or co-produced over 30 recognizable songs annually throughout The Caribbean. It is not unusual for 20+ songs Reuel has worked on to be nominated for various national and international awards each year. To date music he has worked on has won over 60 music awards, not including Producer of the Year at the Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Awards which Reuel has won consecutively since 2014.
Reuel was surrounded by music at an early age through his father, a trumpeter, and his mother, a worship leader. As a result, Reuel has made it a mandate to share his skill and knowledge with others. To this end he taught Studio Recording/Production, Music Theory and Vocal Training at several local programs. In the intervening years, Reuel has performed with, and made public appearances in support of, many artists at their album launches in Trinidad & Tobago and abroad.
Reuel has also worked in the advertising field doing commercials for radio and in the film arena as a sound engineer and composer. He is one of the most prolific Gospel Music Producers in the world today.
In 2020, Reuel ventured out as a solo artist, recording and releasing half a dozen singles and supporting music videos for the next two years. The fruit of that labor resulted in 4 Marlin Awards: Outstanding Reggae/Pop Recording Duo Group for “Stop Me” featuring Nataki Lendor; Outstanding Contemporary Vocal Performance Male for ” Piece of You”; Outstanding Music Video Male, again, for “Piece of You” and Outstanding Song of the Year for “Love You Fiercely”.
Reuel says that it is His Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who has graced him with opportunities afforded to him so far. Reuel says, “Since I was a young boy I’ve wanted to do this and now it feels like I’m walking in my destiny.” Reuel’s desire is to eventually house the ‘Go To’ studio for Gospel Music in the Caribbean.
